Mobility fund: braille note-taker for Karan in Pune

Karan lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Pune Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Karan could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $15
