A working laptop for Lucas's online degree in Manchester
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Lucas and a full online workload.

I'm Lucas, an accounting student in Manchester. My laptop broke 4 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Manchester.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Lucas. Hope you get there. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Likoni.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Manchester
