A working laptop for Cláudia's online degree in Rio de Janeiro
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Cláudia and a full online workload.

I'm Cláudia, a software engineering student in Rio de Janeiro. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Rio de Janeiro.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.

Thinking of you, Cláudia. Hope you get there.
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 8 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Rooting for you, Cláudia. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Albany.
