A weekly visit for Shirley, 74, who lives alone in New York

I'm writing for my neighbor Shirley, who's 74. Shirley lives alone in New York, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives 422 kilometers away. Shirley loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Thursday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting.
