A weekly visit for Patricia, 93, who lives alone in Ciudad de México
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Patricia is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Patricia, who's 93. Patricia lives alone in Ciudad de México, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Patricia loves chess, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Sunday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
