A youth football pitch for the Union community hall: help our neighbors in Giza

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union community hall, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 89 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $150 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $20 • Tools hire and delivery: $55 • Permits and inspections: $75 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
