A weekly visit for Liliana, 82, who lives alone in Zapopan
Liliana lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Liliana, who's 82. Liliana lives alone in Zapopan, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Liliana loves cricket, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Take care, Gabriela. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Thinking of you, Gabriela. Your post was clear and honest
Stay strong, Gabriela. Hope the doctors have good news. Thinking of Zapopan.

Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 26 people at work. Take care.
sending good thoughts, Gabriela. Shared this with my family. After 25 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Take care, Gabriela. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Greetings from Toronto.
hope it all works out, Gabriela. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Manchester but we're thinking of you
