A weekly visit for Denise, 92, who lives alone in Philadelphia

I'm writing for my neighbor Denise, who's 92. Denise lives alone in Philadelphia, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 514 kilometers away. Denise loves birdwatching, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Glad we found this place.
