My nephew, Gopal, is 12 and in Grade 11. Gopal loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The board exam is in June. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Kathmandu or online, for about sixteen weeks. Gopal is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Gopal's year. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Wishing you peace, Aarati. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.

    • Wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Columbus donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Kathmandu
