A weekly visit for Ana, 86, who lives alone in Fayetteville

An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Ana is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Ana, who's 86. Ana lives alone in Fayetteville, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Ana loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Friday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
