A physics tutor for Karl, 13, who's falling behind
Online or in-person tutoring in physics for a bright student in Freiburg.
🇩🇪 Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany1,081 views
My younger brother, Karl, is 13 and in Grade 11. Karl loves school but physics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The university entrance exam is in June.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Freiburg or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Karl is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in physics, you could change the course of Karl's year.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope it all works out, Leon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Wishing you peace, Leon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Wish I lived closer to Gulu so I could bring a meal.
Shared it with a few friends. Love from Thủ Đức.
Hang in there, Leon. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
stay strong. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I hope June is when things finally get easier. Take care
Praying for you, Leon. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in São Paulo this morning. Thinking of Freiburg
Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
