A weekly visit for Adriana, 89, who lives alone in Ciudad de México

An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that's all Adriana is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Adriana, who's 89. Adriana lives alone in Ciudad de México, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Adriana loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I hope life is good to you.
