A weekly ride to Fresno Regional Medical Center for Graciela
Graciela needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States651 views
Graciela has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Fresno Regional Medical Center alone. After an eyesight problem, Graciela can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 9 km each way.
Graciela is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

- one weekly trip
