Start-up fund for Tejaswini: reopening a flower stall after a storm that collapsed the roof
Tejaswini has run a flower stall for six years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a flower stall in Nagpur. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $210
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $65
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Working capital for the first month: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thinking of you and your family, Tejaswini. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Hope it all works out, Tejaswini. Hope you get there. After 27 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
