A weekly ride to Alcalá de Henares Regional Medical Center for Javier
A rota of drivers to Alcalá de Henares Regional Medical Center would keep Javier on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Javier has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Alcalá de Henares Regional Medical Center alone. After a foot amputation, Javier can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way.
Javier is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out, Lorena. Wishing Javier a smooth procedure and a full recovery. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Alcalá de Henares.
