Need strong backs and a van: moving Chidi to safer housing
Chidi has found a safe new apartment in Bonny and needs help moving heavy furniture on Wednesday.
🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria220 views
After an unsafe stairwell, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Bonny, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.
