A weekly phone friend for Trupti, recovering at home after chemotherapy
Trupti is housebound after chemotherapy and is looking for a friendly, patient person for a weekly call.

After chemotherapy, I have been mostly housebound for 5 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like music, books and gardening, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Glad we found this place.

Take care. Shared this with my family. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best
Good luck, Trupti. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We're a small family in Abbottabad but we're thinking of you
Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope April is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Quezon City!
