A weekly phone friend for Lestari, recovering at home after a broken pelvis
No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a broken pelvis, I have been mostly housebound for 4 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like music, books and gardening, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Glad we found this place.

Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care

Best of luck, Lestari. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Taguig
Keep going, Lestari. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
