A weekly phone friend for Ashok, recovering at home after a major depressive episode
No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a major depressive episode, I have been mostly housebound for 6 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like history, chess and quiz shows, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Thank you so much.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Gwangju.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.
