Ruth lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Auckland Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,400.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Ruth could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

Sure. The biggest one is first-year servicing plan, $290. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
