Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Itzhak afford treatment in Tel Aviv
Itzhak is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Itzhak was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March. The oncology team at Tel Aviv Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Itzhak is 39, worked as a construction supervisor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tel Aviv Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,000 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,300
• Scans and lab work: $1,450
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $500

What exactly is the $10,000 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. household costs while unable to work comes first ($1,300) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
