A stair-climbing aid for Purvi: help Purvi move freely
Purvi needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

Purvi lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Nashik General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Purvi could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts, Ganesh. Wishing Purvi a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Kumasi.
