Feed 151 families each week at the Thursday Table in Thủ Đức
Help keep a free food pantry open for neighbors in need in Thủ Đức.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Sunday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 151 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Thủ Đức market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $120
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $125
• Baby formula and diapers: $65
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

take care, Dương. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Campinas so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Thủ Đức.
