A skate park for the Lotus community hall: help our neighbors in Nashville
A community-led a skate park at the Lotus community hall that will serve 420 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,050.
It will serve about 420 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $410
• Tools hire and delivery: $480
