A skate park for the Jacaranda health centre yard: help our neighbors in Pune
A community-led a skate park at the Jacaranda health centre yard that will serve 303 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 303 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $550
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
• Permits and inspections: $15
