A service dog for Patrick, a navy veteran in Munich
After twelve years of service, Patrick is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.
🇩🇪 Munich, Bavaria, Germany1,300 views
Elisabeth served twelve years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with hearing damage and PTSD. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $1,850.
Elisabeth is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Essential household items: $195
• Transport to appointments: $340
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,315
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Take care, Patrick. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 31 people at work. God bless.
You're not alone, Patrick. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from New Delhi.
