A service dog for Kiran, a navy veteran in Coimbatore
Kiran served eight years in the navy; $400 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served eight years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $400.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $400 goes:
• Essential household items: $90
• Housing deposit and first month: $240
• Transport to appointments: $70
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
