A sensory garden for children with autism for the old Unity bus depot: help our neighbors in Surat
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $350 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $145, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 368 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $200
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
With deep gratitude,
Parvathi

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out!
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Parvathi.
