Liam is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Liam was diagnosed with kidney cancer in September. The oncology team at the Mandurah Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Liam is 26, worked as a primary school teacher until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mandurah Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $11,450 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $9,750 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,000 • Scans and lab work: $700 Every share and every dollar helps.
