A sensory garden for children with autism for the Liberty health centre yard: help our neighbors in 6th of October City
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $550 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $65, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 368 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $340
• Permits and inspections: $65
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $95
