A sensory garden for children with autism for the Acacia vacant lot: help our neighbors in Riyadh
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $1,500 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,500.
It will serve about 83 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $270
