My daughter Dola has been accepted for treatment at Gazipur Transplant Centre in Gazipur, starting on Friday in March. We live 366 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Dola and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Dola will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money

    • So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Blessings

Hope things get better soon, Mitu. I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Gazipur.
