A repair café workshop for Pioneer Park: help our neighbors in Cambridge

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,450. It will serve about 164 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $2,450 goes: • Materials: $1,650 • Permits and inspections: $145 • Safety equipment and signage: $130 • Tools hire and delivery: $525 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Consuelo
