A rainwater harvesting system for the Liberty health centre yard: help our neighbors in Munich
Volunteers in Munich are raising $3,600 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Liberty health centre yard.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,600.
It will serve about 578 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,600 goes:
• Materials: $2,850
• Tools hire and delivery: $390
• Permits and inspections: $360
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Santos.
