Get Ludwig back on the road: my taxi repair fund
Ludwig's my taxi is Ludwig's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $1,500.

I make my living with my taxi. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $1,000
• Labor charges: $280
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $120
• Towing and inspection: $100
