For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $400, and the remaining cost is $2,950. It will serve about 346 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $2,950 goes: • Materials: $1,650 • Permits and inspections: $360 • Safety equipment and signage: $360 • Tools hire and delivery: $580 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Josiah

Wishing you peace, Josiah. More neighborhoods should do this. We're a small family in Faisalabad but we're thinking of you. Blessings

    • Thinking of you, Josiah. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Thinking of Pittsburgh.
