My son Yuki has been accepted for treatment at Sapporo University Hospital in Sapporo, starting on Saturday in September. We live 167 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Yuki and me. We can contribute $120 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Yuki will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Gazipur.

    • Best of luck, Tomoya. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.

      • Thinking of you and your family, Tomoya. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.

        • Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Sapporo.

          • Wishing you the best. Wishing Yuki a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Please keep us posted
