Guadalupe was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at Guadalupe University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Guadalupe is 56, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Guadalupe University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
