I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at Surakarta General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900. My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
