A licensed electrician to fix a dangerous fault at Aaliyah's home in Oakland
Aaliyah has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning, and cannot afford a licensed electrician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In June an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,450 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $290.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope it all works out, Aaliyah. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 29 people at work. Take care.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Oakland
