Saying goodbye to Lucía - help with funeral expenses
Lucía passed away on 13 August; we are raising $1,200 for a respectful funeral in Mexicali.

Lucía, my sister, passed away on 13 August after complications from pneumonia. She was 90 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Lucía to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Mexicali hospice.

• Transport of the deceased: $150
