Friendly visitor needed for a 78-year-old neighbor in Addis Ababa

I'm writing for my neighbor Mekdes, who's 78. Mekdes lives alone in Addis Ababa, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Mekdes loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
