A fresh start in Nakuru: help the Sahin family resettle
The Sahin family are rebuilding in Nakuru after leaving Afghanistan; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Afghanistan 6 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Nakuru. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in November.
I was a pharmacist in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by a local church-run settlement group, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $450 goes:
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $200
• Language classes and bus passes: $105
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $95
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $50
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Shared it with a few friends. Don't give up. Greetings from Sydney.
Thanks for sharing this, Faith. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
so sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Nakuru.
you're not alone, Faith. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours. All the best.
Stay strong, Faith. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Tampa this morning
