In January I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. My oncology team at Kota University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in April. I was told to expect about 8 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 39, I worked as a shop owner until January, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Kota University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $280
• Transport to Kota University Hospital: $95
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $660
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. household costs while unable to work comes first ($280) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
