Help a family of 5 start their new life in Manchester: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Afghanistan 10 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Manchester. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in October.
I was a mechanic in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $480
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $240
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $510
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $620
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
