A fresh start in London: help the Karimi family resettle
Help a family of 7 start their new life in London: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left the Democratic Republic of Congo 14 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in London. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in July.
I was a shopkeeper in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $320
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $310
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,370
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you and your family, Benjamin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
