A fresh start in Edinburgh: help the Nguyen family resettle
Help a family of 8 start their new life in Edinburgh: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Ukraine 14 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Edinburgh. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in May.
I was a teacher in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $200
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,500
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $970
• Language classes and bus passes: $580
Thank you so much.

So sorry you're going through this, Sadie. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
