Help a family of 6 start their new life in Cox's Bazar: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left the Democratic Republic of Congo 7 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Cox's Bazar. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in November.
I was an engineer in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by a local church-run settlement group, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $150 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $25
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $60
• Language classes and bus passes: $65
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Jannat. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
keep going, Jannat. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best!
hope things get better soon, Jannat. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
