A fresh start in Cologne: help the Okonkwo family resettle
Help a family of 8 start their new life in Cologne: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Sudan 12 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Cologne. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in June.
I was a farmer in Sudan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Cologne Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $350
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $150
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $290
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $910
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you, Tim. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
