A fresh start in Buffalo: help the Sahin family resettle
The Sahin family are rebuilding in Buffalo after leaving Afghanistan; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Afghanistan 5 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Buffalo. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in April.
I was a farmer in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by a local church-run settlement group, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $200
• Language classes and bus passes: $650
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,100
Every share and every dollar helps.

rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Bristol.
Hang in there, Nova. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Keep going, Nova. Hope this works out for you. Take care.
Thinking of you and your family, Nova. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Nottingham.
